The Great Design of Life

What happens when we stop resisting and surrender to the moment? Our lives are gifts from higher powers, beyond our understanding. We are standing underneath the wisdom of our creator and advanced intelligences that weave the reality of which we are a part.

We are all parts of this grand tapestry of life, and we all carry with us our personal meaning and higher calling.

It is ingrained into our system and discovered through our way of being. And when we are not living in accordance with our personal purpose, we will be made aware.

We can notice it in gentle nudges and subtle whispers, and if we pay attention, we can direct our course from there. Though if we ignore the guidance, it will increase in strength until we listen. And if we are truly stubborn — like me — it will, in time, turn into a roar.

With intention, I surrender and merge with life — I choose to dedicate myself to my path and the work that I have been generously given.

Because yes, we have been given responsibilities and directions — but it has not been placed on us by mere chance. For one, it is coincidentally aligned with our qualities, talents, abilities, and gifts. Secondly — on some level — we have been asking for it.

We may not remember when. We might not understand the consequences of our request. But at some point, in some way: we asked — and we were given.

And when we accept this: self-created obstacles of resistance are removed.

Pain vs. Suffering — Let Go of The Hold

Pain is inevitable. It is a natural part of growth and change. Suffering, on the other hand, is created and amplified by our own resistance to what is.

When we stop fighting and begin accepting who we are and the choices we have made, the self-caused suffering that follows dissolves.

The longing to be elsewhere — wishing for something different from what we are currently living — is what keeps us stuck. And when things are trapped, the stream of life is blocked. Trapped energy stacks and builds tension, which eventually converts into pain.

And when we release the hold — our resistance to what is — the blockages are simply not there anymore.

Releasing Resistance: The Power of Attention

What is this resistance that blocks our connection with life and weighs us down?

The resistance to what is, is mental — and thoughts only gain life from the attention we give them.

Of course, the louder they are, the harder they are to ignore. But the more we distance ourselves from our thoughts, the clearer we see that they are only as real as the power we give them.

When we do not entertain negative thoughts, they lose their influence. As complaints and blame knock on the walls of our awareness, we can choose to simply not let them in, and instead honor the moment that is.

When we are occupied with our work or engaged in a conversation, our attention is directed at the value of the moment, and by default, that is what is alive — where attention goes, energy flows.

When our inner wellbeing — health and wealth — become more important than the need for external validation, everything shifts.

Thoughts are merely thoughts — and if they are not entertained and fed by our attention, they simply are not.

As such, we focus on the positives and what we want to create. We live how we want to be — and negativity loses its grip on us.

Conscious Choice Aligned With Life

We have the power to make a choiceWe are the powerful choice-makers of our lives.

With radical acceptance and trusting that we are where we are meant to be, and capable of being with what is — because we are — we allow life to unfold undisturbed.

We are living to the fullest when we are aligned with our life and what brought us here. When we are in acceptance, we appreciate what is and what we have. This is richness and the path to true wealth.

The one who has a lot and complains is poorer than the one who has less and is content. It is all a matter of perspective, values, and attitude — all of which are within our power to embody and evolve.

With a positive mindset and mature attitude, we focus our attention on what nourishes us. No matter the weather, we always hold the power to direct our attention.

Where we are and what matters to us is personal and situational. Our values and perspectives are constantly evolving and we are always adapting.

The point is to decide and accept. Here and now. In this moment of our lives.

A Greater Vision: Dreams of the Future

And YES — there is a time and place to dream ahead and visualize a desirable future. That too is part of life — to follow our heart and live with purpose; to paint a vision and complete a mission, to answer the calling that pulls us forth.

There is a moment to plant the seed of intention. And then we allow it to take root in the field of potential — silently growing without overriding the present moment.

The dream of a better world and being present do not exclude one another. They integrate and fuel each other.

And in this sacred equilibrium, by being fully present, the future doesn’t need to be chased — it arrives.
