Holistic Coaching — Everything is Connected
One-to-one coaching that works with the whole of you — body, mind, emotions and spirit — as one connected system.
The Four Pillars
Physical, mental, emotional and spiritual are four dimensions of one organism. Each has its distinct role and qualities, and each influences the others.
When we exercise and move our bodies, we naturally crave nutritious food, and we rest better at night — our muscles repair and our energy is restored.
Our thoughts become clearer, and our attitude more positive. With an open mind we are able to connect with our emotions, listen more deeply and respond more harmoniously.
With less mental resistance and physical tension, our energy flows freely, and our state of being is more aligned.
When one part is not working well, it affects the whole. Pull on one thread, and the whole weave responds.
Physical — The Foundation
The body is the temple: the vehicle through which we live and act. Movement, nourishment and rest create the baseline for everything else.
Mental — The Direction
Thoughts shape our state of being. Our intention and attitude define our life. As we bring awareness to our inner dialogue and beliefs, we can choose where to direct our attention.
Emotional — The Opening
Emotions need space to move, and we need to be open to feeling. Releasing tension and being with what is present opens the way to intuition and inner knowing.
Spiritual — The Connection
Meditation, prayer, reflection and silence connect us with deeper meaning, purpose and the life we are here to live.
It Begins With Awareness
We begin with a free Clarity Call — an assessment of where you are — to discover the value in working together. We look at where you are in your life in relation to the four pillars, and where you want to be.
What life do you want to live, and what is holding you back from experiencing it?
Asking precise questions and answering honestly allow us to see what needs attention first.
After the call, I send you a proposed direction and offer. If we decide to work together, we design a tailor-made plan based on what you want and what you are willing to do to realize it.
Two Ways to Work Together
Both paths are built on and sustained by the same four pillars, but the approach differs. Ceremony Integration is more open and intuitive, guided by what emerges and asks to be integrated. Goal Setting and Conscious Reconditioning is more structured and directed, working towards a chosen change or outcome.
Ceremony Integration
We enter ceremony to reconnect with deeper parts of ourselves and to see what needs our attention. Integration is how we embody what we receive in the greater ceremony that is everyday life.
The work moves through three connected stages:
Before Ceremony — Intention and Preparation
Why am I entering ceremony? What deeper reason or calling brings me here?
Our intention and preparation set the stage for what is to come and how we are able to meet it. Preparation includes the mental, physical and emotional aspects of how we arrive, allowing us to enter the ceremony as clear, grounded and prepared as possible.
During Ceremony — Experience and Remembering
What did I live in ceremony? What homework did I receive?
As we return to what arose, we reconnect with the state of being we experienced in ceremony. Revisiting these moments of inspiration and surety helps our body, mind and heart remember what we truly want and what we are here to be and do.
This reflection is an essential part of integration. It helps us make sense of the experience in a grounded, practical way and get the most from the work we did in ceremony.
After Ceremony — Application
Now what?
This is where the real work begins — where we apply the lessons from ceremony into reality.
Reminding ourselves of our insights and desires is step one. Making a plan is the second. Committing to it and applying ourselves is how it becomes real.
This is where coherence comes in: bringing what we received into alignment with how we think, speak, and behave. As integration unfolds, we stay attentive to the messages, signals and guidance that arise through our body and mind, our relationships and the circumstances of our lives.
Instead of feeling attacked when things don’t go “our way”, we see life as the training ground where we practise, learn and apply our new way of being.
My own ceremonial path began in 2017, primarily with our sacred Grandmother medicine from Brazil. Over these years, I have learnt that plant medicine is a two-way street: we receive blessings, messages, clarity and inspiration, and then it is up to us to honour what we receive through how we live.
Whatever form your ceremony takes, whether you are preparing for it or integrating what followed, and whether or not you sat with me, I am available to support you.
The ceremony closes — the ceremony continues.
Goal Setting and Conscious Reconditioning
Where am I? Where do I want to be? What am I willing to change, create and realize?
In this second approach, we allocate where you are in relation to the four pillars — your physical condition, mental state, relationship with your emotions and spiritual connection — and set specific goals from there.
Whether we search for inner peace or outer success, it comes back to the same constant: ourselves, and the discrepancy between where we are and where we want to be.
Now, do we achieve things externally to feel better inside, or is it the other way around? In this approach, it is both. Every goal has an outer and an inner dimension, and as we pull on one end of the thread, the other reveals itself.
An outer goal invites inner transformation; an inner commitment expands into new daily choices, habits and practices. Higher self-worth inspires us to exercise and eat well, and as we care for ourselves, our self-love and self-worth increase.
The root of the goal, however, lies within. How we want to be seen is, on a deeper level, how we want to feel — about ourselves.
From what place do I want this? What intention, belief or sense of self is driving it?
We establish where you are and expand from there — removing noise so that we can focus on what matters most and uncover potential and possibilities we had not yet considered.
Accountability
You are responsible for your life, as I am for mine. Accountability includes honesty about what we want and our willingness to participate in the realization of it.
Many of us would like a million dollars; fewer are willing to do what it takes to earn it. Seeing this honestly is better than dreaming about something we are not ready to achieve. From this recognition, we can either strengthen the beliefs, attitude and willingness the goal requires, or bring the goal closer to a point that inspires us to reach it.
Setting the goal is step one. Accountability is walking the path we have chosen — bridging the mental to the physical, the inner to the outer.
Along the way, we look at unconscious patterns, limiting beliefs, old stories, our intentions and the attitude we bring to life and its challenges. Through the four pillars, we recognize which areas need our attention and build the inner and outer practices that support our direction.
This is work we GET TO DO. There is something deeply inspiring in envisioning a reality our soul calls for, and empowering in taking the steps towards its realization.
The goal guides our focus — and, more deeply, it is about who we become in attaining it.
I look forward to hearing from you.
