I’ve been stuck for too long, and this 31-day commitment to daily blogging is how I reclaim my creative value output. It’s time to stand up and honour the inner calling by letting go of control and trusting the flow of creation.

“What happens when we show up every day — not for applause and to impress the crowd, but for ourselves and the quiet aspirations of our soul?”

It’s time to stop hoping; it is the moment to commit. And I invite you to join me because, let’s face it, the more the merrier, and also (more on this in future posts), the power of accountability is real.

I love to write, and based on my life experiences, I have a lot of value to share — through this medium and in other ways.

And I am SURE that you have too!

A 31-Day Commitment to Creative Flow

I’ve found myself caught in countless hours of refining my writings one way and the other. Travelling through inspiring trains of thought, adding elements, perspectives, and novel angles. Then looking up and discover what has happened:

The once-to-the-point and insightful essay has grown into a 10-page mountain of work.

I’ve been stuck in the phase of perfection at the cost of the actual delivery.

The struggle is real, and I am the one creating it.

I want to be consistent, not only in sitting down at the computer, but also in the actual materialization of the finished product. And with this intention, of learning how to be consistent with direction, creating valuable content, I gave myself a framework to grow within:

Release internal blockages with a 31-day commitment to creative flow.

I’m fed up with wasting my time, and the question has found its way to my core:

What will happen when I show up every day for a full month?

The answer: “I don’t know, and I am dying to find out”.

The Promise

Starting today, August 1st, 2025, I will publish an article every day for 31 consecutive days — NO MATTER WHAT.

I will follow through, if only to shatter the crystal ball of perfection and procrastination, and prove to myself that I can.

With this, I am building coherence and confirming with myself that I do what I say I’ll do, and that when I say I’ll do something, I do it.

(I invite you to reread the previous paragraph; it carries a lot of punch)

By choosing something new, without doubt or looking back, my life is changing, and so am I.

This is a 31-day devotional practice — a full-bodied yes. And I’m inviting you to say yes to your own.

It’s not an intention to try, but a commitment to follow through. Committing to something that you want and know that you can achieve when you put your mind to it.

In this moment, don’t hope. Just decide and do what you say you will do.

Are you Hooked?

It is not about showing off or chasing applause. It is not about winning over anyone except our past and limited selves. It’s about evolving together, knowing that your growth and progress inspires mine and vice versa.

As one heals, we all heal, and the more we live in alignment with our true nature, the closer we are to our highest potential. “Together we are stronger,” and as we walk together, we are able to walk further, longer, and higher.

What is your promise to yourself? What is your goal? What is your 31-day commitment?

It can be anything. However big or small, weird or normal. What it is doesn’t matter. What matters is that it resonates with you. That it is something that you choose, for you, based on your values and what you desire from life.

To gain clarity we can ask ourselves:

What do I want to learn or achieve? And what simple practice can I begin today that will lead me there?

What concrete steps can I take today that will move me closer to where I want to be tomorrow?

WHY COMMIT?

My primary intention is to clear the channels and be, create, and live in a state of flow. Immersed in the sacred dynamic of reciprocity – of giving and receiving, being and doing.

The message of surrender into this creative devotion came to me in various ways. Then, as I came across “An Article a Day Keeps the 9–5 Away” by Mohab A. Karim, the fire that had begun was enhanced.

This part struck me specifically: Writing daily wasn’t the goal. Freedom was: But when you publish one article a day, something shifts. It’s like you’re reclaiming a little piece of your voice. A little piece of control.”

It was the final drop that filled the cup. It was the precise spark that ignited the call.

In this moment, I am most curious about the inner transformation and personal development that might occur.

How will I and my relationship with myself transform?

How will my experience of life evolve?

How will my relationship to writing, creation, and creativity shift?

In short, it comes down to assuming personal responsibility and being a conscious co-creator of my life and reality.

And yes, though it begins with inner transformation and personal experience, it also comes with a silent anticipation of how my external reality will unfold and materialize.

And in the end, as we remain consistent with our practices, with direction and faith, TIME WILL TELL.

The Goal is to Show Up and that is the Win

I’ve completed various 30-day challenges before, and I can promise you one thing right here and now — They always bring unexpected lessons, messages, experiences, and gifts. And I am open to being surprised and amazed by what comes from this endeavor—and yours!

The more we show up for ourselves and the world, the better we become at it. The better we become, the more we are able to give. And the more we give, the more we receive, and the cycle continues.

And this is the point. To develop our capacity to show up in life. As we are and with what we have today. Doing our best in every moment, and our best will continuously evolve.

Some of our performances might be messy or even crappy. However, the goal is not to produce a Pulitzer Prize-winning article every day, but rather to maintain consistency in content creation with honest effort.

It is to be aligned with the sacred equilibrium of energy input and output.

It’s not about comparing and competing with others, trying to be the best. It’s not about trying to look good but simply showing up — every day — as we are.

And as such, we follow through on our promise and honor our lives.

Quality over Quantity

And yes, I am a quality-over-quantity man (I suspect that you are as well). I desire to add value and produce high-quality content. However, for my personal growth and the expansion of my reality, the main goal now is simply to do it. And that is it — committing to daily delivery. As good as it can get. Knowing that something is better than nothing.

Could I continue to perfect and perform? Could this article be more engaging and to the point? Could it be higher in quality and value?

YES. In numerous ways.

Would it take another day or more?

Maybe — but more likely ten. Or never.

And so here it is. Published in the eyes of the world. My current work of art. Just like me, imperfectly imperfect. The first step has been taken, and I am learning to walk.

The task is done and I passed the test.

31 Days of Committing to Yourself

31-day commitment reminder: And so, in case you forgot or placed it on the side for another time, the other time is now:

How does this month or the upcoming 31 days look for you?

What are you committing to?

What are you stopping or beginning?

What beneficial actions are you making into a conscious routine?

What unhealthy habits are you quitting?

Remember that one step each day, taken consistently, is 365 steps in a year.

It’s not about going big or being perfect.

It’s about showing up.

Every day. For one month. 31 days. Each day.

For something that matters to you.

For the potential of surprising yourself.

Then see what happens.

And when you do, please let me know how it goes.

But What Shall I do?

Write. Stretch. Sing. Breathe.

Practice. Paint. Run. Move.

10 pushups. No alcohol. 5 minutes of silence.

Journal about what you have to be grateful for today.

Nothing is too big or bold and nothing is too small, subtle or modest.

For me:

Freedom is the goal.
Self-expression is the reward.
Writing is the vehicle.
Consistency is key.
Devotion is the gift.

For you? Who knows! It can be anything and everything because when we step out of the sandbox of familiarity, the unexpected is at our feet.
