The Power of Mind and Language
The last years I’ve experienced with increasing intensity the incredible potential of the mind. And with that the extreme importance of the conscious use of language.
I’m learning how thoughts has the incredible power to affect our state of being and how our current state of being determines the content and quality of our thoughts. These thoughts further enhances our state of being and together, thinking and feeling, is affirming and continuously co-creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.
And if we are in a negative cycle of thoughts which we want to break, we need to change our current state of energy, i.e. our vibration. Meaning that when we change the vibration in our body, through movement or breath, the frequency of our thoughts alter as well. (more on this below)
Words Create
Thoughts create. They affect our state. Learning how to spell and what words to use when and where is an art which we all have the potential to develop. And for me as I am learning, it is essential if I am to manage and navigate this life well.
What power does words hold and what do they mean to me?
Words can break and words can create. Words can tear us down and words can build us up.
And so…
What is their personal code and how do they affect (i.e. program) me each time I speak them? What is my relationship to them and how may I grow, learn and adapt for this dynamic to evolve?
My current understanding – and for the purpose of this exploration – is that each word has its own roots and essence, with its proper qualities. Beyond this I am a unique being with my personal construction and ways of seeing the world and relating to life. And then of course, so are YOU.
Thus we all have a distinct relationship with each word, phrase and saying in regards to our person, current level of awareness and what meaning (life-force) we give them.
Every relationship between one thing and another is unique. Now we are speaking about words and language but it’s worth emphasizing that this is a metaphor for all things. And if you have that notion with you in “the back of your mind” throughout this exploration, you will be able to read between the lines and receive specific insights in regard to your current life situation.
Yes, we are talking about one thing. But we are really speaking about something else. And when we have this approach to life we may see, feel, listen, and receive beyond the obvious.
What are Words?
Words has an origin. They come from somewhere. Words have been spoken for more years than any human has been alive. Each word has their place in the field and in the greater scheme of things. As they are coded they play their part and affect the all.
Furthermore, depending on their current connection – their neighbouring word – they combine and alter, both themselves and their surroundings.
Meaning that they have their essence (personality) and dependent on how they are assembled along with other words, they are affected. And as they are affected, they continue to affect the whole of which they are a part.
This might be an unusual perspective while at the same time it is self-evident and obvious. Because as such it is with all things. The personal affects the external and the external has an effect on the person. Depending on what situation we find ourselves in, our experience is distinct, and as we are being we are affecting our surroundings.
The Human Experience
Continuing on this thread. When we – as human beings – are alone in our room we are one thing and when we are with others somehow we change. And depending on the situation, differently we adapt.
We are affected by our current surroundings and the circumstances of our lives. Likewise we have our own personal effect wherever we are. The moment a new person arrives into a scene the whole ambient alters. Sometimes almost unnoticeable (the person blends in) and sometimes undeniable, i.e. “the whole room changes”. And depending on who YOU are, you will notice and experience this change distinctly.
And of course, when a person leaves, or a word or sentence is removed, the whole context alters as well.
Obviously the human life is more complex than a word in a sentence, and there are various other factors playing their part in this dynamic. However, the idea is to demonstrate a point and look at this phenomenon – how each thing affects and is affected by the whole – from a relatable angle.
Furthermore, the ultimate intention with this account is to reconnect to the human and our personal experience.
The idea is that these words will lead us towards an expansion in consciousness and increased self-awareness so that we are more able to live in alignment and harmony with ourselves and the world.
Speaking about language, in the end it all comes down to each one of us. And in regards to how we spell and formulate ourselves, it is not only WHAT words we use but WHEN, WHERE, and HOW.
And the more we are observing and are becoming aware of the above, the more we are learning about ourselves. And as such our understanding grows and we are beginning to see the deeper meanings that are hidden inside.
And steadily we will evolve in our ability to choose our words and use language consciously for the betterment of our lives, our families, and the world.
As we ARE so do we CREATE
Continuing on this notion. As you and I live our lives, interact with the world, and are a part of our community, this law is critical to be aware and conscious of:
“That our inner state emanates and we are continuously co-creating our reality.”
“When we are in a negative state of being, we are not only creating internal turmoil but simultaneously radiating this energy to the external.”
Does this mean we are not allowed to be sad, angry, or tired? Does this mean that we should hide or feel guilty for being in a negative state?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
We are emotional beings. This is part of the show (i.e. the human experience) and supressing our emotions or attacking ourselves only creates more of the same – i.e. “What we resist persists. What we accept transforms.”
This exploration has no intent of placing any kind of blame or limit our way of being but rather the opposite. The invitation is to allow ourselves to fully feel and be with what is. The distinction made is to be with what is CONSCIOUSLY rather than unconsciously.
The purpose is solely to place awareness on the fact above and remembering what we all already know:
That we are a part of the whole. And how we live our lives and chose to respond to what is, matters. And as such we are co-creators and actively defining the quality and circumstances of our lives. Consciously or unconsciously.
Furthermore, being aware of how we are affected by our surroundings and current life situation may lead us to make necessary adjustments in our lives.
YOU as the Conscious Co-Creator of Your Life
Tying it back to words and language. When we are aware of the words we use and fuel them with conscious attention, they gain life-force which has the potential to affect our entire reality.
Which means that the other side is true as well. If we walk around on autopilot, inattentively, we permit the unconscious programming to run on repeat. Continuously recreating our reality based on the default mode of our conditioned past. And as such by our mere submission we are self-creating victims to the external circumstances of our lives. Enforcing the hand that was given instead of using it as a vehicle of transformation.
“The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch and do nothing.”
– Albert Einstein
Meaning that there is no escape from life. We may pretend and falsely believe that as long as we ignore, things are not happening, and we are safe. As long as we do not look at the fact it does not exist. But the fact is that there is no “getting away from life”. Either we use the creational power of words and language, or we are getting used by them. Either we acknowledge the fact or we ignore it to our own demise.
We may create and direct our lives conciously with ideas and beliefs, or we may be defined, controlled, and limited by them.
Either we think for ourselves, or we are being taught what to think. Either we choose our thoughts, or they are being chosen for us.
Life happens all the time, whether we like and admit it, or not. We are constantly affected. And it is up to each and one of us to choose.
And perhaps I have gotten so used to getting used that I have completely forgotten who I truly am and the power that runs through my veins?
Perhaps I was afraid and didn’t acknowledge myself? What if I have given my power away?
Perhaps I have prolonged my stay in a comfortable place for so long that I’ve missed the larger point of our lives?
For me, on some level, I believe that the answer to these questions is yes. And by staying too long in an apparently safe place, the comfort suddenly turns into discomfort. Too much ease becomes disease. Because it was never meant to last.
All things has their time and place and if we don’t leave when the time is due, life will surely let us know.
A CALL TO ACTION
And as such this is a call to WAKE UP and IGNITE the inner light and assume responsibility for the direction of our lives.
Because you – YES YOU – have the ability to consciously choose your words. What thoughts you feed and what ideas you believe. YOU have the power to observe, question, and learn what serves your state of being and what does not.
Thoughts CREATE and within your mind YOU HOLD THE KEY to your potential and the evolution of YOUR REALITY.
Choose to mindlessly and passively reaffirm the same old speech. The outdated discourses that keeps you stuck in a loop. Or decide to actively assume responsibility for your life, state, health, and wealth by asking expansive questions, being open to the answers, and thinking new thoughts.
Remembering that NOT TAKING A STANCE IS A CHOICE. It is remaining standing where we are. And as we do not move. Slowly we sink deeper into whatever is.
